The Chi Zeta Archonettes hit the road again. They traveled with their advisors to Texas for football and the state fair. This was an amazing time for all. The young men from the Beta Sigma Club were also in attendance.
The Chi Zeta Archonettes have embarked on a large scale project to improve their SAT test scores by studying the 100 most frequently tested words. They will publish and study one new word per day for the next 100 days. This will happen on Facebook and other social media platforms in an effort to help others. #Scholarship

On August 17, 2018, the Chi Zeta Archonettes celebrated the end of summer, returning school, and one another. They affirmed that they are Ahhhmazing and that the Future is in Safe Hands. #Sisterhood

On August 4, 2018 the Chi Zeta Archonettes welcomed 5 new members. The ceremony was beautiful.
On June 30, 2018 the Archonettes held a Z-Fit Hip Hop Dance Class. Several Archonettes and Zetas attended. There were healthy snack and protein shakes available.

On June 16, 2018, The Chi Zeta Archonettes volunteered at the Stork’s Nest and the made blankets for young families.
On June 14, 2018, The Chi Zeta Archonettes toured the Physical Therapy Department of Langston University. They met Dr. Pollard and Dean Joshua Busby.
On June 8, 2018, the Chi Zeta Archonettes and the Sigma Beta Club had a great time skating. This was a joint youth fundraiser and lots of fun for everyone in attendance.
On June 6, 2018, the hard work and dedication of the Chi Zeta Archonettes was on full display at the Grand ReOpening of the Stork’s Nest, Inc.
On June 1, 2018, the Chi Zeta Archonettes spent a night at the Ball Park. They laughed, played games and bonded. They had an Ahhhmazing time.
On May 26, 2018, The Archonettes ventured out into the Wild with members of the Chi Zeta Chapter. The group explored the Wichiga Mountions Wildlife Refuge. They looked a wildflowers, lizards, and toads. The bison observed them. #ZetaDaysUSFWS

The Archonette Club participated in tea and an etiquette class. These young ladies had fun while becoming more aware of social graces.
The Archonettes donated money to St. Jude’s in order to purchase 5 Medical Teaching Dolls. These dolls are used by professionals to explain medical procedures to young patients.
The Archonette Club did community service at the Stork’s Nest and at the Regional Food Bank. Servant Leadership.
The men of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. held their Regional Conference in Oklahoma City. The Chi Zeta Archonettes attended the opening ceremony and a step show.
While the Oklahoma Public Schools have been out the Chi Zeta Chapter started the Archonette Academy as a method to keep the Chi Zeta Archonettes engaged as well as other teens.
March 24, 2018 was a busy day for the Archonettes. At 9 am they met at the Stork’s Nest for community service. Next, a working lunch with their advisors and then they ended the day with a Microsoft Coding class.
March 10, 2018, the Chi Zeta Archonettes were sponsored by the Chi Zeta Chapter to attend the Finer Womanhood Scholarship Luncheon.

THE FUTURE IS FEMALE
The Chi Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. is excited to present the Archonette Club to the community.
The Archonette Club is a fun and empowering Youth Auxiliary group comprised of high school ladies between ages 14 and 18 sponsored by the women of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. This effort focuses on empowering teens through an engaging curriculum, leadership activities, and community service. The Archonettes will develop leadership skills needed to impact the community at large and provide a footprint for the next generation.
On February 25th, nine young ladies were inducted into the Archonette Club sponsored by the Chi Zeta Chapter. The induction ceremony was attended by the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.’s Oklahoma State Director Curtisia Battle, family, and friends, and was followed by a cake and punch reception. The newly inducted Archonettes are Paris Andrews, Nichole Gaines, Triniti Gaines, Layla Johnson, Rashay Muhammad, Lauryn Reed, Cobie Reeves, Akwe Trevillion, and Shyla Woody. These Archonettes are a positive force individually, and collectively their impact is limitless. Please congratulate these new members of the Archonette Club and their parents.
The Advisors of the Archonette Group, based on experience, are Artisha Woody and Kamisha Busby. They will train and guide seven “Zeta Youth Auxiliary Interns” for the next year before the interns will be qualified to be advisors. The intern class is Danne Johnson, Danyale Matthews, Marcella Morgan, Monet Murray, Heather Selvie, Shana Trevillion, and Christin Washington, all current members of the Chi Zeta chapter. All nine women who will interact with the Archonettes have undergone a background check, certification training, and CPR training.
The Archonette Club is just one of three of the youth auxiliary groups that the sorority sponsors and the creation of the groups date back to the 1950’s. The Chi Zeta Chapter is thrilled to begin working with these new young ladies and looking forward to the memorable journey ahead.
The Zeta Way yields results - ordering our steps, training, planning, and keeping our principles in mind. The Archonettes sponsored by the Chi Zeta Chapter are coming. They will be welcomed into the Blue and White family on February 25th.
Members of the Chi Zeta Chapter who desire to work with the Zeta Youth must go through a training session, be CPR certified, pass a background check, serve as an intern for one year to gain experience, and be sincerely interested in the development of youth.
