The Chi Zeta Chapter engages in Scholarly activity and promotes Scholarship through attending and participating in scholarly forums in addition to awarding scholarships.
On August 25, 2018, the Chi Zeta Chapter helped to host the 5th Annual BEO College Fair. We discussed membership, hosted a workshop entitled a “Survival Toolkit For Women on Campus,” conducted Voter Registration and made new friends.
On August 1, 2018 Members of the Chi Zeta Chapter and the men of the Delta Beta Sigma Chapter joined forces to welcome the Thelma Parks Elementary School Students back to school. We support and encourage the education of our youth. #Scholarship.
Danne Johnson, Chi Zeta Member, served as a panelist for the Light Bulb Room and discussed “The Invisible Woman” and other topics as they relate to Ralph Ellison.
Members of the Chi Zeta Chapter attended Opal Tometi’s lecture on the campus of University of Oklahoma. The Co-Founder of the Black Lives Matter movement was insightful.
